Our old boiler failed a safety inspection after 34 years service and parts we no longer available for a repair. A local firm quoted us £2500 + the cost of a plasterer to make good alterations to fit a new combi boiler. A friend recommended Home Direct 24/7 so we gave them a call and an engineer popped round to see us the next afternoon. Surprised to say the least, friendly and well mannered, oh and on time. We were quoted a lost less the £2500 including removal of any rubbish, making good of any plaster work and the fire back. The work was all done within two days and apart from the fact that our son missed a few hours sleep (he works nights) there was barely any disruption. It was well worth it. If I hadn't booked the service I would still be living with a gas leak from my gas meter that I was unaware of - scary!! I didn't have to do anything, it was all organised and dealt with within the same day. I will definitely continue to use Home Direct 24/7.

Well, I paid for a guy form out of newspaper to fix my boiler, I was left without anything over holiday period as he fitted wrong part and caused a leak in boiler. I phoned Home Direct and guy come out same day, fitted a part which he had on him and got me working after 10 days of nothing, original so called engineer from **************** ripped me off and I've been advised to contact Gas Safe to claim the £300+ bill. Home Direct told me that it wasn't even the fault to start with. Thank you people for helping me and been really pro. People reading be warned, ************** shouldn't be even gardening never mind fixing boilers. Mr Akhram Admin Note (Local company can't be mentioned)

Moved to Home direct for service / boiler cover last year. The boiler broke down last week and within 2 hours of telephoning Home direct the engineer arrived. Unfortunately parts had to be ordered. These were fitted today -- giving us a warm house again!. I am absoultely delighted, not only with the cost of 247, but with the standards of customer service, temperament and professionalism of the staff and the completely positive overall experience. I cannot reccomend this company highly enough!
